Thermafuse - May 9, 2007
Back in February I met this amazingly talented RRFC camper named Jared Stamey. His nickname around camp was "Mini-Steve Vai" because he played such a mean electric guitar. I told him he should definitely consider going to Berklee for college!
Anyway, he also had the most gorgeous head of long red hair I'd ever seen; turns out his dad Van is the CEO for a haircare line called Thermafuse based in North Carolina.
I hooked up with Van about a month ago to be the hair "guinea-pig" at a large hairshow convention at Javits here in NYC. I am now ADDICTED to the products, and the head-stylist, Cosmo. He used the inspiration of a Mallard duck's feathers to color my hair with a state-of-the-art spraying procedure, and cut my boring brown hair into a beautiful, face-framing (and slimming) cut. I've never had so many compliments on my hair!
